Model designation question...
The model designation jump from e36 to e46 seems logical but why the jump to e90? Any ideas? Sorry if it is a

its not supposed to be logical, its just the final design number for the new 3er was 90 so E90 it was

You mean E30 to E36

They are just chassis designations. Not all of them make it into production hence the jump in numbers.
