Icelink IPOD Nano ashtray stealth install.

My icelink arrived today, and I found out that I can fit the Ipod Nano in the ashtray without needing to remove it. That way you still have a functional ashtray for money. But I wouldn't recommend putting cigarettes in it while an Ipod is in there.

Anybody interested in a DIY of this sort? So far I haven't seen anybody successfully do a nano install in the ashtray without removing the plastic unit inside.

If so, i'll take pics as I install.

It would be interesting, however keep in mind that the iPod does not need to be in immediate access since all control is via the steering wheel or radio.

IMHO, the glovebox or sunglass holder would be just fine unless you're just looking to do something unique.
