adding DRL?

Would i be able to add Daytime running lights to my 99 323I? I have seen the module for sale. Just wondering if i could.. and would it be convenient to use DRL with angel eyes? is that what most do?

Your DRL's need to be activated at a dealer. Are you talking about city lights?

Most people tend to do what they can to turn the DRLs off when using angel eyes. Since typical CCFL halos are 6000k or so in colour, the dim halogen DRLs tend to be very yellow and look odd with the DRLs on.

Here's something I'd like to see someone here try who has all halogens and angel eyes (no xenons) - set up DRL brightness on all 4 headlights with the angel eyes on so there is an even yellowish light in the middle of all 4 lights and the halos in white around the edge (instead of just the inside 2). What would that look like?

I run my DDE's as running lights. It's pretty easy to set up that way.

so all i need is to buy the module and hook it up to the angels? im just making sure it is possible.. and does the remote have anything with DRL.. because i know you can have the remote when you unlock the car the angels come on.. but i dont see how the lights can stay on if you dont have DRL?

Do you want the DDE's to turn off when you turn your headlights on? That would be a true DRL setup. I have mine set up so when ever my car is on, so are my DDE's.
