"mk4 dvd navigation retrofit with v26 birdseye view toggle 3d software"
Please elaborate? Aren't ALL nav versions "birdseye"??? What's the 3D software? TIA. |

I have an E46 coupe built 12/2002. It has TV but not NAV. How are you going to plug your XBox in? Have you made video imputs through the TV A/V channel?
Also, how much did it cost for "mk4 dvd navigation retrofit with v26 birdseye view toggle 3d software" and who did it, you or dealer? |

it was pretty straightforward once i had all the information. if your wanting to do it I can give you all the part numbers I used (slightly different to the ones in the nav retrofit guide) because the US guys mostly do a business radio retrofit. av input connections plug into the white connector on the tv module. the v26 software is from x5world. im running v27 now also from x5world. |

underneath the CD staker is the radio and video module (i removed my stacker and put the iPod in there)...the video module is the first one. see the pic (its my boot from when I installed the TvOnNav, the video module is the first silver box you see) on the right hand side you see the blue and white connectors. The blue connector is the one from the monitor, the white one goes to my nav computer. i bought some pins from Audi (they are cheaper there, although i also bought some from bmw) Audi part no A000979010, WIRE REPLACEMENT VA. The white connector was from the Nav retrofit (I believe it was 61 12 8 377 436 looking at my notes but cant find the receipt). that plugs in and i attached the following In order to enable video and audio inputs to the Video Module, connect two RCA cables or RCA sockets as follows to the Video Module Harness white connector: Pin #4 composite video in signal Pin #5 composite video in ground Pin #6 audio in signal Pin #15 audio in ground as per http://www.openbmw.org/nav/sys/ |
