My Ride: 2003 BMW M3 Tiag
"03" M3 with 86,000 been my daily driver for over 4 years I can't help but to drive it!!! Had all the inspections done to it the recall as well had some starter issues while it still had warranty. Xenon headlight goes on an off randomly I still need to fix brakes where just redone, next is my suspension and I know I have to replace all the bushings. Other than that I am satisifed on how good its been holding up. Not to mention for about a year I was running it at the drag strip in vegas!!! I drove it from Mass. to Vegas it was a blast!!!

I'm actually starting to mod now pretty much mod as I go with whatever has to be replace I own it free an clear so without a car payment I can afford it.

I think it all depends on the maintenance/repair history.

I got 84k miles on my 2005. The belts and pulleys have been changed. Front brake pads have been replaced. Everything else is still original. Original ATF fluid still in the tip tranny.

Issues to be fixed include steering wheel creaking sometimes, vert top hydraulic system leak, and intermittent t-stat stuck open.

'05. 145,000 miles, which is surprisingly low, based on some other threads. Minor issues post-warranty. Nothing to write home about. The horn doesn't work. Still trying to find time to run that down.

2002 325i with 103xxx miles. While i've only put 3000 miles on it, it hasn't had any issues apart from the belts/pulleys. I'm sure it would have had more if the previous owner didn't baby it

73k on my '03.

I think if you've kept up with maintenance, the miles won't be a big deal. The problems occur when a car has 100k and the PO ignored his/her car for those miles. My biggest maintenance needed done at 37k when I first bought the car, and since then it has just been incremental maintenance here and there while taking good care of it.

2001 116k.
yes, if you are not DIY kinda guy, you probably better off selling it.
me on the other hand bought mine to learn how to work on a car. I LOVE working on the car. very rewarding and makes owning a car so much better.
however, I wouldn't want to turn this into a career. I am an electronics engineer.

108k .After 100k is when the fun starts. I just replaced most of my stuff before 100K, one step at a time. Best car ever.

01 325ci, step tranny, 130k miles. I drove only 3k of those miles, I bought the car 2 months ago.
Just keeping up with regular maintenance. Have to change the thermostat(new one still in my trunk) once I get time after this semester is over.
