how am i supposed to put the orange pad and the other one beside the one i got with the porter cable. the orange, white, blue are straight flat and the one i got with the PC has where its bolt on?????

hmm well for that much i would think the plate should of came with it, no reason why they wouldnt give you especially if you are getting a new pc/ unless they specified that it is sold seperately.

They company you purchased the kit from should have stated in BOLD that the backing plate is sold seperately. Personally I think they should send you one on the house. If they don't, one option is to tear the white foam off of the the one with the backing plate and afix some velcro. One home made backing plate.
