They put a front plate on it! I would kick 'em in the nuts for doing that to my car.

I agree, the old M roadster was more aggressive looking versus the standard Z3 but the Z4 is alot more aggressive looking than the Z3 so I guess they didn't feel the need to overdo it. It still looks hot and I still want one regardless.

Intresting how they did the strut bar as opposed to the in the M3. Less room under the hood I'm sure.

I am well aware that Z4 sales have been, err, lackluster but for the sake of conversation, why would BMW pour more money into this roadster by issuing an "M" version as opposed to a "ZHP'-like variation?

Look again. It does have carbon fiber leather trims. MZ4 comes stock with brushed alumminum trims, and CF trims are a no-cost option.

IMO, CF trims flow a lot better with the (black) head-unit/plastic trim around shifter/cigarette-plug cover. With brushed alumminum trims, they make those other things stand out like a sore thumb.

... maybe, I guess, for two reasons: "M" and Porsche.

M models sell because they are really special, different and exciting, and Porsche is getting too much of the attention in the $45,000 - $60,000 sports car bracket with the Boxster. The regular Z4 has done nothing to change that attention.

Personally I do not see a ZHP Z4 being any different nor special from a regular Z4 with the sport package. The only regular Z4 that could make some difference is the upcoming new Coupe, IMO...

I like it a lot, but I know that I'd definitely like the ///M Coupe more . I can't wait for that one to come out over here.

I drove it this week. Its not that exciting. A e46 m3 is still the most exciting car. The mz4 doesn't have that sweet intake sound at higher revs like the m3. Its fast but it doesnt feel like it. I have to say i was expecting more.

I think it looks pretty sweet.
Didn't notice the quad xenons at first either!

The M badge on the trunk looks a little akward tho...

they should do something with the side BMW badge instead just putting a ///M emblem

the last ///M roadster is in a much better from IMHO

The car could really benefit from 19" CSL's....Those wheels just don't set the car off....
