Everyone says that, but the Z3 M Roadster wasn't that dramatic a departure from the regular models either. Come to that, the M3 doesn't look that different from a 330Ci with Aero kit. It's got the usual M-car cues - front air dam with no fogs, M badges, and quad pipes. Only difference is they didn't add the side air vents, which would be tough to integrate into the Z4's fenders anyway.

what material is the dash made out of? it's hard to tell.. looks like CF in one of the pics but you can see seams and stitching in the pic below it...

either way, it's amazing.

Those of you who think the MZ4 doesn't look that different from a regular Z4, you need to check out the car in person.

The pictures just don't do the "engine hood" justice. In person, the MZ4's hood looks really aggressive and pronounced. The MZ4 looks like a Z4 on steroids, and you can't "not" notice that.

I think the Z4/MZ4 is just a car you need to see in person to appreciate the lines and styling.

seen one at the local stealership the other week. looked just like that one. honestly guys...pics don't do the car justice at all. you have to see it in person.

side note: how can you compare the e46 m3 to the z4m as far as looks and all? the roadster is for those who want the roadster feel of a car, not just a convertible coupe. there's no comparison here...the z4m is just a sexy car just as the e46 m3 is a sexy car.

You're closer than you think with your description - it's carbon-look leather, leather made to look like carbon fiber. New option for the M Roadster.
