If you see one in person its not too bad, i like the look much better than the M6, that's for sure.. But even when i had a chance to pick up a white M5 at sticker AWHILE ago, i thought it was just way too bland, did nothing for me

I think it looks dead sexy, though it is a little conservative when seen next to an e39

I can't stand the side profile of the Trunk and the front of the car looks like the face of some kind of insect. It's all oogly googly look'n

Oh and the interior reminds me too much of the 7 series insulated feel and look. Like you are trapped in an insulated bubble with no sense of what is going on with the car....

Also for 80K the interior is way too plain....

used to hate it, but the v10 can overcome any aesthetical downfalls.

i saw one in person on the freeway and creamed my pants. coming up on that quad ass puts all doubts out of your mind

Unless I get it in black...in which case it's ugliness won't show as much

To be honest with you martin, I'm starting to lean towards a Bike for the Summer/early Fall/late Spring and a cheap little jeep for the winter. Maybe I'm just too picky but I can't seem to find a car that suits all my needs

you know, I used to not be much of a fan of the 997 until a couple of weeks ago, when I saw a black on black 997 cabriolet with red calipers. I just kinda sat there with my mouth open, b/c I had never really noticed how nice it looks. So now 997's get a from me

Alot of cars that look horrible in any other color look amazing in black. I don't know what it is but I guess it has something to do with hiding the contours and marks of the car. I call it the Make-up for ugly cars

Yea man, just Porsche's in general. Seeing them online, in pics and so on they look like nothign too special, bland.. I saw a black 997 s coupe and the guy was staring at me in my turbo and im staring back at his 997 beauty, they are gorgeous cars, agreed
