Who has painted plastic trim???

Im trying to get a good feel on painting the black plastic trim....has anyone done this? how does it last? whats teh best way to do it? preciate it!

many have done it..

hung from FD was having an amazing deal this month.. wouldve saved u a lot of money..

search for it under "molding paint"

I don't know what color your car is, but if its jet black you're in luck. The whole process should cost you 20-30 bucks. I did the front trim piece using Krylon Fusion, its a spray for plastics available at walmart or anywhere really. I then used a spray clear, from anywhere.

I know what you're thinking "that probly looks like ****" Well, actually it looks like OEM quality paint, and I drove over 10,000 miles, through the winter and it still looks fantastic, shines and waxes like the rest of the car, matches perfectly.

Search for my thread on it. You'll need to wet sand to get rid of the orange-peel texture of the plastic.
