It is using the same technology that Menzernas FMJ and Klasse use in their sealants. They all use Arcylic resins. As far the 5 year warranty goes, it is just a numbers game. I applied the paint sealants for the dealerships for years. They didn't even work as well as Klasse. They knew that if they sold 10 for $500 and 1 person collected on a damaged panel it was still a money making dream. There is no sealant that will last for more than 6 months. I don't care how expensive it is. I have never seen it.

I hope this answers your question.

If you have any other questions about sealants or waxes please don't hesiate to ask.

Thanks Brett

I own a car that had this product applied at time of purchase which was about 1 yr ago now. Do you for see a issue if I use both Klasse products(AOI and other?) on it? The info that was provided when this was applied recommended no wax or sealant since it would dull the finish as well as void the warrenty. From your comment it sounds as though since it is approx 1 yr since application and car has been washed at least 24 times that I don't likely have any Toughguard left on paint, true?

Also the toughguard product for vinyl and leather was applied and again use of any other product on either not recommended. I have just been cleaning vinyl and leather with damp towel. Both surfaces look pretty good but I'm sure there is room for improvement.

My primary concern is not voiding the warrenty, but F**K up the finish of all the surfaces(paint/vinyl/leather). So, I guess what I'm hoping to hear is that I will not destroy/dull anything. And finally which product would you recommend>
Thanks
Gary

As far as the warranty goes there is no way they would ever know you applied another wax. In fact you are doing them a favor. By applying a quality sealant like Klasse AIO you will never need to invoke that warranty.

If there are no scratches or swirls present then Klasse AIO is a good choice. It contains a chemical cleaner and a acrylic sealant. If there are some light swrils you may want to polish first with some Poorboy's SSR1 or Menzerna Final Polish. If you want to add some extended durability top the AIO off with the Klasse Sealant Glaze.

For the interior plastic my favorites are 303 Aerospace Protectant and Vinylex. Both products contain a UV blocker and will condition plastic and rubber keeping them pliable. Leather for me is no question, Lexol. Lexol leaves a natural finish but adds the nutrients leather needs to stay supple. Leather should also be cleaned once a year. Body salts and oils build up quickly and cause leather to dry out.

There are no products that will take the place of regular maintenance. Polish and wax, clean and condition regularly and you will receive many years of good looking enjoyment from your ride.

Thumbs Up

Brett

Again thanks! I was hoping you would indicate that I should have no issues. I've seen some nicely detailed cars on this site and I hope to make mine looks just as nice. I live in Portland, OR so I'm going to wait a little longer(3-4 weeks) to wait out some of our rainy days so I can at least enjoy the shine before the rain sh*ts on it.
