What do you guys think of this... spray on wax!!!

I picked this up at Advanced auto parts. Nano Technology Eagle Spray On Wax http://www.eagleone.com/pages/produc...=1121&cat=5010 They are having a buy one, get one free sale as this is brand new from Eagle and I figured I'd give it a try as I never have time to wax the car beecause of work on the weekends. So, I paid the 5 bucks, washed the car and followed the instructions on the back of the bottle. I can't tell how it turned out as I finished just in time to see the sun set but so far I can't tell a difference over just using this stuff http://www.meguiars.com/?spray-car-w...tion-Spray-Wax


any thoughts on these spray waxes?

Spray waxes are alright for a shine that will last you a few days. They don't stay on, nor do they provide anywhere NEAR the type of protection and gloss you'd get from a regular ol' wax. If you want to give your car a little touchup quick detail, go for it. But if you're looking for shine and protection, look elsewhere.

in terms of looks, I can't tell the difference when my car is spray wax vs paste wax but when you feel the paint there is a big difference.

and bj i know exactly what you mean bro. I love the feeling of throwing the shammi (spelling) across the hood of the car and watching it slide cuz its so darn smooth

I use a spray on wax or detailing spray just about evertime I dry my car - not only does enhance the shine, it also dramtically minimizes microscratches that you create when you dry the car.

I'm a fan of Griots Garage products, and had been using their detail spray for quite some time when I dried the car. When they came out with thier spray on wax, I now use it most of the time when I dry. I have found that the spray on wax requires a bit more buffing with than the detailing spray to get a really nice finish to it, so if I'm a bit rushed I'll still use detailing spray. I have also found that getting the spray on wax on the windows sucks - it seems that detailing spray can be buffed off easily.

After a good flooding rince, and pulling the car into the garage, I spray each section before I dry with a micro fiber towel. I then lightly buff the surface using a Griots' 100% cotton rag to get a really nice finish. The paint has that really slick feel when you do the final wipe, and I have found that I can go MUCH longer between waxes, and even longer between polishings. And by the way, the coupe is black, with 50,000 miles and still looks good enough to take to any local event or show & shine months after a "real"wax job using this process.
