that may be a prototype, but it is the real e92 m3 guys... not nearly as nice as the e46.

for the new m3 there should be a 4.0l v8 based off the m5 & m6 v10 they say it will have about 415hp to 420hp im guessing so it will compete with the RS4 um oh and rev higher than 8k definetly.

From the looks of the picture they are just testing the engine out on the body and chassis i mean from what you can tell from the picture the car doesnt even have an M style front bumper which it will definetly have on the production car. I would expect a different rear bumper a different front bumper some type of spoiler weither a lip spoiler or a csl style spoiler and those special little side grills all you M fans love. Hey count on some big tire out rear i mean the sedan can take 285 under those wheel wells from the looks of the picture the m3 can take even more i would think it comes with 275 from the factory.
