Poor radio reception fixed

Finally i can get am radio so i can listen to the cricket while driving.
Yesterday i bought some deoxit , took the radio amplifier out and did every single connection, yes even the ones that attach to the back window. The hardest part was putting the t20 screws back in.

That's interesting.
I have a somewhat related issue with my radio reception in my E36. When I press and depress the brake pedal I hear a slight 'click' of interference. Know what I mean ?
I haven't looked into it as it doesn't really bother me. It's just there each time you brake. I have to say that the reception could be clearer. It sounds fine but I think it could be cleaner. I haven't been able to compare this with other E36 as I don't know anyone with one at this stage.
Any ideas anyone ?

CRC make a product which is the same as deoxit.
Deoxit is an American product and you'll pay much more for it than the local product.
Look for CRC Contact cleaner.
I use it religously on all my vintage audio gear and it does the job just fine.
