I'm averaging 10.0L / 100Km at the moment according to the OBC and it's an auto.

57-59 litres on a fill is usual for me. According to OBC there's still 25-50Km left to go.

I don't think I have ever seen mine below 11.5 L / 100. It was normally around 12.7

There's a 3L emergency tank there, so i could've gone a bit further.
i don't normally let it go below 1/4 either, however once i realised i was getting low the next servo wasn't for the best part of 100km so, just had to power on.

I have to say, a GS is such a pleasure to take on long drives being so smooth, effortless and roomy, unlike the BMW!

The GS seems to be quite a nice car....... figure it would be a little less sports orientated than a 5 series though...

Lexus really does make brillant daily drivers and highway cruisers. I had access to my father's Is250 for a couple of months when he was O/S. Good for puttering around town, but when I was meeting mates, going for a drive/blat on weekends, the BMW would come out. Says volumes about what sort of cars each are if you ask me.

I've been given a 525i to drive around before, lack of power, stiff suspension. bad interior.

i have never driven a 540i / 545i / 550i ...

my GS actually has this sports button, by turning it on, you can really feel the difference (suspension).

also, theres this ECT pwr button, by turning that on, you get better throttle response and gears holds longer.

anyway, the GS is a more relaxed car, and the v8 does make driving a lot easier

Lol.

I averaged 11.7 in the M3 and M Coupe.

Currently getting 9.8 out of the AMG Your fuel economy is worse than my 996 TT
