wouldnt that make your fuel economy worse ben ?

I remmember when i swapped the diff in my SS ute it got much worse ?

I get about 12.4 in mine with 80% city driving , though I dont hammer it all the time and its an SMG so im guessing you would get a bit better in the manual

Not really as I used 6th a lot more cruising at 70-80 etc.

Although that being said, the M Coupe didn't have the 4.10s and that was always within about .2 of a litre.

That trim looks awesome Jall.

Did you wrap it and if so how hard was it? Where did you get the material from? Whats the fitment like? I've heard of people needing to file/sand their original trim down before wrapping it so that it fits flush with the wrap.

Yep, I wrapped it; not hard once you figure out the best way to get it to stick, just time consuming and frustrating.

I used a spray adhesive for the surface, and then hot glued the edges where I needed to stretch the fabric to get a nice fit.
The gearstick surround is the hardest piece to wrap imo, I've done it twice now because my window switches didn't fit back in the first time. So I did it again and filed the window switch holes back a touch. I'm still not 100% happy with it and I'll probably do it again when I get time. The side mirror adjustment switch was a TIGHT fit, but it didn't need any filing, the fact that it drops in from the top made it easier.

Apart from that I LOVE it, much better than the woodgrain imo.

I got the fabric from. http://www.pyspeed.com/product-p/rd-8001.htm

Jall - looks terrific. Good job on it...

AliG - I used to have an E30 in AW, lowered with a body kit some 16s. Interior was a JPS in navy blue.... so well done on the colour!

I am loving everyting about it so far except the front bar, the fog light in the bar without any frame around them, to me just look out of place.
