i dont think there were any options on the turbo s - they do have the GT2 suspension i believe, its rock hard

front clearance is a prob as it has a long front overhang, so i do scrape it

bought a rubber lip protector like the one that came with my nismo 350z bumper, so that should help somewhat

the gearbox is light years ahead of the smg, there is no delay in the shifts, its instant, i cant imagine using the trans in R mode, itll be neck snapping quick. Even moving off the line there is no pause like the smg. But that's to be expected given its a dual clutch vs single cluth

funny thing i was getting onto the freeway in the M3 and went to put my foot down to beat the merging traffic......and realised i already had it carpeted

Yeah I've got the same problem, I have just sold my place and have found another one the gf and I are keen on.

Major problem is I can't get the 911 in the driveway, it scrapes the plastic guard on the way in. But I'm not actually sure I'd be able to get it all the way up the driveway even on an angle, to make matters worse its in a bit of a tricky area from the road which means it'll take a bit of time getting in and out even without having to worry about scraping the nose.

TechArt make a 60 mm nose lift kit but its only for the 997s as the moment, would be a great solution as opposed to redoing the entire driveway

The BMW is now rolling on 17's. I've also painted the rims Satin Black. I understand that some people won't like it but at least its no longer scrubbing.

The next thing on the list is to get all the shocks replaced which will lift it slightly as well as they are currently doing nothing.

At this stage they are only temporary so I can get everything else sorted before finding the perfect style and size of rim to suit the look that I'm going for

thats a bit of a PIA issue ben... would it be better just redoing the driveway at a more practical gradient for your car?

ps have u moved far away? or are u still around?

Dodgy mods WTF is that directly at me? So are you saying I should have left the rims on that did not actually fit correctly and just ripped up the rear bar and have it constantly scrub like a total POS.

yeah sorry, just thought was directed at me.

I'm just as disappointed as everyone else that the CSL's had to go. They where the only reason i considered the car when looking.

Nick, loving the HM2s mate. Really good choice of wheel.
