"Yes they are Motorsport wheels."

"Don't ask. I have family who work for BMW so i was able to get a decent price, however they were still quite expensive."

I am very well aware of that, however the quotes above would lead you to believe that he bought them From BMW and they are OEM wheels.

Now unless things have changed in the last 6 months ( an i doubt they have ! ) There are NO such oem wheels available that fit a Non-M e46 .

they could be real if he bought four fronts and used spacers to push out the rears.. however he said 19x19.5 rears and they arent stamped so they are replicas just like mine.. sounds like he got ripped off for that price

Yep, and there is an obvious dip in the rears which can only be from a deeper rear end.

He hasnt actually said how much he paid, so he may have paid what you did ? lol either way.

Where abouts in perth are you ? never seen your car around.

Yeh i wasn't sure about the OG, but i got a great deal and it looks nuts with the top down and the White Individual interior !

Mods... i think i will need to swap the diff as its a 6spd , intake , i still have some eibach sportline springs sitting in storage ( never fitted !! ) might whack them in, kinda thinkin about shadow chrome csl's and blacking out all the chrome ( anyone know how hard it is to remove window trim in a vert ??? ). I might do something about the front bumper , not sure what though ??

Serious performance mods will only happen if i keep the car for a while ( recently my turnover has been about 6 months ! )

Miss- Yeah that colour was the hottest thing i had ever seen ! everywhere i went people where commenting how good it looked ( i take part credit for that ) . I really miss it

Cant wait to put the top down and go cruising ... It officially arrives in 3 Hrs !!!

Flew up to Brisbane to buy it as there was nothing decent around canberra that I could find. Had never driven a BMW before, so its a nice change coming from a WRX, alot smoother with a more quality interior and finish. I do miss the power though, but am happy with the way it handles and just a nice car to cruise around in.
Has a kit, exhuast system, bilstein suspension etc.

It has had some quirks, like half of the instrument cluster dieing (was fixed by removing some fuses..), and now the air bag light has come on. Will take it in to get the error code read out and fixed.
Hey Robb
Just catching up on the forum after having been away for some time, I own a stock 318i exec, and it has an intermittant speedo (odometer),i see you had some issues with you instrument cluster, and had it fixed by replacing some fuses, Can you or any forum readers help or suggest and fixes for me, the dude at the garage says $2500 to replace which includes new keys and ignition system.....................frustrated with banging the dash to get the speedo working.cheeers

There arent many around here in VIC which is the main reason why I chose this colour - prefer to be different as it stands out more!!!

Talking about MTech kits has anyone ever found one at a wreckers? How much? or do you know a place that sells mockup kits? I am not going to buy an Ebay kit but haven't been able to track a MTech kit down elsewhere....
