ooh lookie here, it's definitely someone who knows what they are talking about! Are you the mechanic I pay to service it? Or are you the insurance company in which I pay to have it covered? No? Oh you must be the roads and traffic authority in which I pay to have it allowed on the road. Oh wait no? That's weird, how on earth are you able to comment? You either have me mixed up with someone you actually know out of the Internet, or you are a dumbass. I'm guessing the latter

Oh and it sits on my side of our garage.

Oh thanks mum, I never would've driven my civic if you weren't here to tell me to. I really appreciate that.
Basically Declan, the car is an uncomfortable nugget. Dad has back problems so since 2004 he's driven it 3 times. He hates the car. Not even an exaggeration, and that's when I took the 4WD sand duning and the other 2 times I had the Audi and the other cars were blocked so he just ran up to the shops in it. Noone will drive or sell it. So yes I'm forced to drive it. Thanks for the assumption stating otherwise though, it was cute

The colour is sepia which is slightly misleading because its a two/three tone paint. The top colour is a blueish flat purple and the second colour is the actual sepia, complete with broze metallic flakes.

I absolutely love how it changes, when parking somewhere new or with different weather its different. The Style 72 M wheels are also one of my favourites.

ps. I suggest anyone handy with a torque wrench to grab the leather m3 wheel from USA. Its only about $400 new thanks to our dollar and the one I got was made in 2010. Its much better than the vinyl sports wheel.
mate that thing is gorgeous! Congrats!
Also I never would've thought the wheel was vinyl?? Are you sure about that? If so that's pretty lame

I still fail to see how that "forces" you to drive the car. I know for sure that your parents don't force you to be an active member of the forums, go on cruises, photoshoots and meets.. You know, all those things people who like their cars do.

Seriously Sherv, we all wish we could be in better cars but you've practically been given a decent ride and all you do is b!tch about it. Meanwhile the rest of us are busting our nut to buy, maintain and mod our cars. It really sh!t's me when people are given something and don't appreciate it.

As far as i can see, you have 2 options.
1. Sell the BMW/refuse to drive it if you hate it as much as you say you do.
2. Admit that you actually like the car and stop complaining about it.

Haha didn't mean to spark an E9x vs. E46 debate - both awesome cars!

Thanks for the comments everyone

Declan, such is life I'm afraid. This is something you have to understand and learn to live with. Different people will always have different circumstances and thoughts. In my serious opinion, I actually cannot drive the e46 for long periods of time. I've tried driving it for a week straight and just cannot. It's just an unnecessary pain to drive, and the fact that someone needs to drive it is on my shoulders due to my parents feeling the same about it as me. If you tried understanding different cultures, you would see how different some are. Some cultures the oldest son does all the work, and some cultures like indians ( I have an Indian mate who was given everything) they treat their sons like kings and the parents get bossed around etc.

I chose all those options and colour schemes on the e46 because it was going to be handed down to me. Do you actually see my folks getting a sport kitted imola on beige with those style wheels? This is before they were selling individuals that look exactly like aarons, this was one of the first ones in Australia at least that looked like that, so clearly they had different plans. I bought the civic for my own personal reasons, and I think it does a lot of things better than the e46, such as ease to drive on sydneys **** roads and traffic. The e46 is a pain. The only thing it does good in my books is drive well when you put your foot down, and also photograph well. This is why I'm on here, as my only enjoyment from it lies on here.

I do feel for you that you bust your coconuts for your car, but this is a good thing as one day you will actually be doing something awesome, and you will have much more money than those cvnts that are given shlt their whole life

Declan has a point you dont go onto an orthodox Jewish website agreeing with the holocaust. I appreciate people are entitled to there opinions but when peoples opinions clash with the whole motto/ Idea of the site your just doing it to evoke a negative response. Which to be honest you cant be surprised when people like Declan, myself and the majority of the members get upset when we live breath and eat E46. I havent owned an E46 in nearly 2 years and I still spend more time on this site learning about them then I do socialising on Fb. Furthermore if you are to sell it how much do you want I am in the market soonish? Give it to someone that will appreciate it lol

He's just calling it how he sees it. It's called diversity, it'd be a boring place where everyone thought the same thing

i agree with diversity but running down a car that the site is about to members that love them is just being a douche. I concur there not the be all and end all of motorsport but this is the wrong forum perhaps for him to be expressing his distaste to such a high level.

I was fired for being over qualified last week lol. I had the 2IC manager at Mercedes realise who I was when he was looking for a lounge in his lunch break. I used to work with him at Zupps saab back in the day. He said in front of my Domayne manager that if I was looking for a real sales position I could start there.. So the Manager fired me with the reasoning that she didn't want to put 6 months of training into me if I was to leave. I couldn't think of anything worse than going back to car sales Id rather rip my teeth out from my back passage but I must have not been that convincing.. So back on the unemployment bandwagon. Still studying correspondence though and looking... So Brisbane members have any work? lol

oh god no I couldnt think of anything worse than working back in car sales again. Alot of hours which isn't too bad the killer is job stability... Well to sum it up you don't unpack your lunch because there is no guarantee you will be employed there to eat it.. I hopefully have lined up a job with a company called GZ design they do business websites and business logo's etc. I had an interview there last week. I have another Wednesday. The position is as a Sales Consultant but its a young company and I am getting in on the ground floor so good for career progression in 5 yrs I may be the CSO for the number #1 Web Design company in brisbane But yes better for my Bachelor knowledge gaining wise

You are failing at comprehending my point. I like the e46, but when the super fanboys start getting cut that I call an e92 better looking based on my own personal preference, I then see it time to bring y'all back down to earth. A lot of you guys bag out ecca for being full of e30 fanboys, yet you are all just as bad hypocrites. It's kinda sad. It's one thing to be passionate, but it's another thing to be obsessed to the point where your mind is so unhealthily skewed towards it. And no it's not for sale as I stated many times already

And did you honestly believe the other 2 cars I drove you around in were inferior in terms of dynamics to the E46?

I got "cut" that you said you have to swallow your pride every time you get in the car... It's those sort of statements in a forum which clearly has an appreciation for the vehicle that piss people off.
