instaled Mtec Cosmos Blue bulbs in my low beams, parkers and fogs today....
... imo thecolour temprature matches the CCFL angel eyes perfectly, whereas the super whites, against the angel eyes looked a bit yellowie.... heres the outcome

comparison:
OEM on the left, Mtec Cosmos Blue on the right

I also always wondered why my righ headlight left a different shape on the wall to my left... then when i went to go change the bulb i realised it was never screwed in, and was left haging in there just sitting in the halogan casing

i actually took it for a drive just now in the night to see...
i knew it was going to be less
but after driving it... its really still suffiient, and the fact that the light temprature is whighter.... it makes up for it a bit, so the actual light output isnt that different

im happy with it

each to their own i say.

nar dude seriously im not one for tha type of stuff..choped springs, tinted front window, blacked out tails or inefficient bulbs etc... which is why i just took the car for a drive on a quiet road now... they bulbs really are fine... as stated before the light output is only a little but less but the fact that the tempratre is higher (white look) it actually makes up for it... TBH i really couldnt tell much difference!

yeahh i getya.. see i like that hint of blue because the angel eyes also have that hint of blue, so in comparison the super whites dont look as white... where as the cosmos blues are a perfect match

can u take some photos of hte super whites for me and PM them plz... mates interested

I'm surprised your not tempted by the deals from Jason or from where I bought mine; which is DDM Tuning. Their prices are great, but obviously at their cost...

Money can be spent on other things - no big difference in going OEM to DEPO, had them compared side-by-side : you'll just have a bigger unit with built-in igniter and ballasts etc.. and instead of having XENON written around the projector bulb, its DEPO. Both still retain the leveling function too.

It's either OEM brand new, or nothing - and those prices brand new are going to scare you away because I'm willing to bet they will probably cost more than a set of wheels shipped from VMR.

Bi-Xenon shutter??? Reflector dish made specifically for xenon? use of D2S bulbs?
