Caring for microfibers

This has probably been asked a thousand times, but when I get done drying my car how should I care for the towels? This time I just righed them out and hung them up to dry, is there anything I am missing to help preserve the life of these expensive towels?

1. Before throwing them into the washer, make sure there is no little pieces of wood/rock, whatever that might harm the towels.
2. After adding liquid detergent to cold or warm (Brett

) water, let the towels sit in the washer for like 20 minutes before wash cycle starts.
3. When rinse cycle starts, put some (not much) white distilled vinegar.
4. Air-dry (I prefer air-drying

)
5. Store them in zipper bags or plastic containers as soon as it's dry.

Brett, what do you think about MF detergents?

I use it myself sometimes. I carry the Micro-restore. I haven't added it the web store yet but I will add it shortly. At my commercial locations I used the vinegar becuase of cost. At home I use both vinegar and micro-restore. Depends on my mood.

whats the point of the vinegar?? is it necessary?
also, will any liquid detergent do?

vinegar will remove old waxes and polishes built up in the towels. It also rinses freely leaving no residue behind. Vinegar is a cheap alternative to microfiber washes. If you use a detergent make sure that it is a liquid. It is also very important that the detergent does not contain bleach or fabric softeners. Try to use less that the recommended amount and I would wash them on gentle for a second cycle with no detergent to make sure the detergent has been completely removed.
