Set Up Help

OK this is what i am getting

2 L 7 solo 12" 2 ohms subs
1 rock fosgate 1500.1 power amp to run them

1 rock fosgate 550x4 power to run the inside speaker

1 Kenwood kvt 911 dvd for the source

But the problem that I am having is trying to find the best inside speakers for the car so may buy the AVI "EL" series speakers.
What ya think.

Off the top of my head... Focal's are excellent but expensive.

Cheaper but still good: Boston Acoustics, MB Quarts (although the tweeters are a bit shrilly to some ears), Polk Audio ...

There are some other ones... just do a search on this board.
And don't just believe anyone on what is good... only YOUR own ears can tell you what sounds good for you. Speakers are probably the most subjective part of audio.

how are you gonna wire up the 2 dual 2-ohm subs?

I had the same question several weeks ago because I was upgrading sound (I am currently installing Boston Acoustic Pro Series components). My search on this topic pretty much discovered the following high end brands were recommended the most often:

Focals (very expensive)
Boston Acoustics
MB Quarts
a/d/s

These also seem to fit our locations with little to no modification.
