HELP...i'm trying to get rid of double sided 3m tape

i took off my eye lids and they were stuck on there using two sided (thats what its called right?) 3M tape. Whats the best way to get the remaing tape off my lights? WD40?

Also i had my grill blacked out and took that off. It was the kind from Bavauto.com so it came with this super stick black gue stuff. I can't seem to get this off at all, unless i use a razor but thats a little sketchy. Whats the deal?

I have never seen anything work better than this stuff. Just be care around clear plastic and wash any residue off immediatly. 3M General Purpose Adhesive Remover.
