URC-9960 Kameleon Remote

http://www.ofausa.com/remote.php?type=URC%209960 (check out demo)

Anyone else have this remote. I just picked this remote up from Amazon and it works surprisingly well for the money. Paid $45 shipped. Controls up to 8 devices, has a dynamic touchscreen EL display. Has some functional disadvantages such as the inability to generate a tactile feel for your remote without looking at the screen. Also, the standard tilt sensor is way too sensitive and can make you go thru 4 AAA's in a week or two unless you either upgrade the tilt sensor by opening it up and desoldering and soldering on a better tilt, or unless you turn it off all together via the set up menu. HOwever if you shut it off you can no longer just pick up the remote and make it turn on (that is the function of the tilit sensor), but you would have to actually press a button and make sure you dont press the power or anything like that.

The pros is that it really does replace all your remotes, allows for advanced code replacement, a home theater option which allows you to place vital portions of your HDTV, CBL/DVR, Audio, and DVD all on one screen so that you dont have to change screens on the remote. Allows 4 macros, and allows for IR learning from your current remotes. Basically ive been able to retain all vital and some non-essential functions of all my remotes and contain it in this one remote. Oh yea, and dont forget that it looks very nice with the EL display.

I give it 4 out 5 but seeing how this is my first universal remote im not a very good judge.
