Got 3! (ssbpDC2,e46,V6accord) thinking about buying a m3 down the road...... but not for a good time from now

Spotted a Black E46 M3 with a vented gtr hood csl trunk and dtm style exhaust tips by the roseville automall yesterday around 3pm ish.

That was me! While I was there I also spotted a silver e46 m3 with a wing and I think iforged wheels.

Nice I couldn't tell if the hood was vented at first but when you turned onto N. Sunrise I could see it better. I was driving my Ex gf's black 328ci nothing special so you wouldn't have noticed it.

Yeahhhhhhhhhh!, did inspection 1 and omg the car is totally different! Intel helped me change the Oil, Oil Filter, Cabin Filter, Transmission Fluids and programmed the lights to blink when you lock the car.

MINI Inspection I:

Undercarriage
Change oil and oil filter while engine is at operating temperature.
We recommend MINI Synthetic Motor Oil, p/n 07 51 0 143 829
Check transmission for leaks.
Change CVT (automatic) transmission fluid.
Half shafts: Check for leaks at flexible boots.
Visually check fuel tank, lines and connections for leaks.
Check condition, position, and mounting of exhaust system. Examine for leaks.
Check power steering system for leaks. Check p/s fluid level; add fluid if necessary.
Check overall thickness of front and rear disc brake pads (outer pads only) using special tool.
If replacement is necessary:
Examine brake disc surfaces. clean brake pad contact points in calipers. Grease wheel centering hubs.
Check thickness of parking brake linings only when replacing rear pads.
Check steering for absence of play, condition of suspension track rods, front axle joints, steering linkage and joint disc.
Check brake system connections and lines for leaks, damage, and incorrect positioning.
Check parking brake actuation. Adjust if necessary.
Check all tire pressures (including spare). Correct if necessary. Check condition of tires (outer surfaces [left/right]), tread wear and pattern; in case of uneven tread wear readjust wheel alignment if requested.*
Note:If requested rotate all four road wheels as instructed and rebalance.*
Inspect entire body according to terms of rust perforation limited warranty (must be performed at least every two years).

Engine Compartment
Read out diagnostic system.
Check engine cooling system/heater hose connections for leaks. Check coolant level and antifreeze protection level; add coolant if necessary.
Note:Coolant must be replaced every 4 years (time interval begins from vehicle's production date).
Check level of brake fluid in reservoir. Add fluid if required.
Replace brake fluid every 2 years (timing interval begins from vehicle's production date).* Will do this probably next year.***
Check windshield washer fluid level and antifreeze protection. Fill up and/or correct if necessary.
Check air conditioner operation.
Replace microfilter.
Note: reduce replacement interval in dusty operating conditions.
Reset Service Interval Indicator.

Body/Electrical Equipment
Check battery state-of-charge, and charge if required.*
Check lighting system, i.e., headlights, foglights, parking, back-up, license plate, interior, glove box, illuminated make-up mirrors, luggage area lights.
Check instrument panel and dashboard illumination.
Check all warning/indicator lights, check control.
Check turn signals, hazard warning flashers, brake lights, horns, headlight dimmer/flasher switch.
Check windshield and tailgate wipers and washer systems; wiper blades, washer jet positions.
Check condition and function of safety belts.
Check central locking system.
Check operation of all latches.
Check heater/air conditioner blower fan, rear window defogger.
Check rear view mirrors.
Visually examine the SRS airbag units for torn covers, obvious damage or attachment of decals, decorations or accessories.

Final Inspection
Road test with check of brakes, suspension, steering, automatic transmission.
Visually check shock absorbers for leaks.

Oh no! Man down! Intel has a bad leg, time to borrow his tools since he cant use them .

Its my knee that hurts. VA doc says I should keep off of it for a while. Its either from running or basketball. Blame it on the Marine Corps, they emphasize too much on running. I should be completely fine after a month or so. Planning on finishing two marathon later on this year.

I placed a bid for climbing yosemite's half dome on september 9th, with an alternative choice on sept 23rd for six people. I got three other friends going with, so if the group get pick in the lottery system, then I would have room/ticket for two more people for the hike up. Anyone interested as well?

Summer is coming up, so there's plenty of runs, sports, hiking, obstacle courses, mud runs, biking, rafting, swimming and what not. Be active with the car, and active with the body. Just remember yosemite, kings canyon, and the sequoias are in our back yard.

Here's the 10 mile run precursor to the basketball game that probably hurt my knee. Nice pace, and a good distance.

I could barely run half mile. Probably take me 10 minutes to do 1 mile. HAHAHA, I know I'm skinny as hell and have no strength.

Update: Knee still hurts. Just swapped out my fcab, passenger side felt a little wobbly when braking, so it was time to R&R it. Looking at the pics, the passenger fcab completely failed, and collapsed. Stupid bmw putting that fcab so close the the hot hot headers. Didn't want to go poly or powerflex, since I welcome the comfort and quietness of OEM. Plus I already did my rtabs with OEMs; might as well keep it all stock. Used the crowbar method to take off and put the fcab on the control arm. So simple. I'm out to ice the knee. Enjoy.
