Few questions...

Currently I have a 10" MTX Thunder 6000 subwoofer powered by a MTX 200W Amp RT2120 in the trunk of my 323i. I have noticed that I don't get a whole lot of bass sound inside my car because the trunk of the car is sealed tight so most of the bass sound gets contained in the trunk. My first question is if I want more bass sound inside the car, would drilling a hole(s) in the trunk be a good idea? Have any of you done this? If not, what other suggestions do you have?

Next question is do any of you know of any good car stereo installers in the Maryland/DC/Virginia area?

Thanks.

3 things people have done ->

punch out the ski hole
fold the seats down (if u have folddown seats)
make paths(holes) on the rear deck (wouldn't recommend)

basically these are the 3 ways you can increase the bass flow.

200 watt

Is that enough? Normally the amp has to be more powerful then the 2 woofers? Is that the case here?

I am running a 12" with a 240W amp - all with the stock stereo. I had the exact same problem. My route was to knock out the ski sack, fold down the centre arm rest and face the sub towards the hole - WHAT A DIFFERENCE. All in a 4-door.
