Damn I forgot about the buffing pads and a fresh bottle of Meguiar's NXT Generation Wax.

got another one..:

-when, after touchless car wash, you prefer dry you car on the highway instead using towels or leather...

E46 Cx has been calculated to remove any drop of water @ speed higher than 120km/h (something like 65 Mph)..

I do that when I know it's going to rain again soon. You just have to clean off the back bumper and trunk when you get home, but that's the only place where water spots show up after a "highway-dry"

boy i fit into to quite a few of these categories

i've got one(not sure if it's been said already);

you know you're a fanatic when you spend much time cleaning your wheels from the brake dust buildup- cleaning spoke by spoke with your hand

I thought of this thread during today's activities.

When this is what you do on a Sunday:
-wake up at 11, have a pop tart and a capri-sun for breakfast
-go out to the garage and dust the car off with the california duster
-go back inside and put some pants on
-go back out to the car and clean the bug collection off the front bumper from the previous night
-touch up the wax and the tire shine
-go inside and eat lunch
-go back outside and put some forever black stuff on the bumper moldings to darken them up a bit
-go back in and take a nap until dinner
-eat dinner and then make plans for the evening (if it's not raining, I pick her up, if it is raining, she picks me up!)

When you see a chick driving an e46, and you think "wow, we have a lot in common, I drive a BMW, she drives a BMW, same model... I think she's my dream girl, I think I love her, I bet out kids would look great, we'd have to buy an x5 though... unless she'd want to put out kids in a 3 series wagon? Wait, would she want that? She'd want to drive OUR KIDS in a WAGON!! WHAT WAS I THINKING, I DONT LOVE THIS GIRL AT ALL" ... and then you find yourself yelling "I DONT LOVE YOU ANYMORE" out the window to some girl who has no idea who you are...

That happens to everyone right? ... right??

LMAO!
I've actually gone through this type of scenario in my head after seeing a hot chick in a E46. Except I picture us driving an X5 and M5 to lug the kids around

I love this thread.......makes me laugh

- Get a woody when you see a chick driving an M3 and tell yourself that you would marry her........and thinking what your cars would looke like next to each other in the garage.....should I drive the grey one or white one today....lol
- Start to cry when you look outside and its raining after you spent countless hours washing your car the day before
- You know more about fixing your car than the tech at the dealer
- You spend more time on this site than you do working
- You try and get friends to mod their cars
- Constantly look at showroom to get new ideas for modding
- Hope you get a raise so you can get a SC
- Look at fellow fanatics and feel more of a family bond than your real one
- Get your dad to start modding his own car
- Think to yourself about cleaver usernames or liscense plates that you could use
- Can name what type of exhaust someone has just from hearing all the sound clips you listened too trying to decide which one you like the best

No, as a hardcore E46Fanatic you don't have to convince yourself of anything, you know the E46 looks better than anything else on the road.

While you admit it will age, you know it will always be a shape that you will love to see driving down the street in 10, 20, or 30 years time and remember those days when you owned one.
