My Ride: Waiting for my M3
I actually convinced my wife to get an X3 and I'm about to give my 328Ci to my mom because I'm buying an M3.

You're a fanatic

when someone calls an SMG a manual and you tell them it's a "SEQUENTIAL MANUAL GEARBOX" looking at him/her like he/she is an absolute ignorant.

when you pass another E46 purposefully to see the shape of their headlights so you know if it's pre or post 2002.

when you re on the market for an M3 and you actually test drove every single one for sale at a dealership in a 75 miles radius.

when after you said something about your E46 that seems so vital and important to you to your wife/girlfriend and all you get is something that sounds like "pfff!!" (accompanied by rolling eyes).

when you get the backward walking syndrome every time you walk away from your car.

when you are on the road and you hope someone is gonna try to race you.

When you have to drive another brand and you feel ashamed by people looking a you. "no no, I'm not here. it's not me..."

...if on another forum of a completely unrelated nature your avatar, signature and member title deal with your BMW

...on said forum you anxiously wait for threads in the off-topic forum so you can brag about your e46

When you are at the club or even on a date and check the website thru your phone.

When you girlfriend complains about your car you just tell her one day she wil understand. But in reality you really don't care

Oh and when you drive you never put the windows done because in the long run it might damage your leather
I hope its not just me lol

1001) You know that BMW part numbers are 11 digits, and search google for part numbers using 2-2-1-3-3 spaced format, like "31 12 6 757 623".

1002) You actually know what the part number above is!! (it's the control arm bushings).

when...... you realize the only tools you need to take the entire car apart is 8,10,and 13 mm box wrenches.

You know your a fanatic when...

Someone says "i bought a new BMW" and you automatically assume its a well maintained E46
-
-
and get disappointed when they say its BRAND new.

A whole afternoon spent washing the car is sumarized as "relaxing"

You referr to your rims using BMWs wheel model code

Know specs for E46models not sold on you home market..

Your read Hiding as HID:ing
