No a real fanatic does not eat, smoke or get laid in his car!

Well ok for the getting laid, we can make an exception, but only if we have some sheet or a duvet, cause weet pussies leaves traces on the leather...I know from experience.

You feel the need to detail the inside of your car every three days, with touch ups inbetween.

You take up a two car garage for your e46.

You Shampoo your trunk liner weekly when there hasnt been anything back there.

When you are forced to let someone else drive your car and your constantly pressing your foot down where the brake would be on the passenger side because you dont want them to drive your e46 too rought.

You make your sister dump her boyfriend for curb rashing your rims when she let him drive your car.

You Armorall your car every other day to keep off lint.

You do not drive with the windows down to keep the dust level low.

Maybe too acessive?
nooo....

You know your an e46fanatic when:
1. you actually dont mind writing the car payment check
2. your wife says "its me or the car" and your next move is calling your old friend from college who is now a divorce attny
3. you buy your wife a BMW e46, and then it becomes YOUR baby and she gets pissed driving the truck every day
4. you would rather rent your son a 500.00 limo for the prom than let him borrow your e46
5. every monthly budget is increased 500.00 to pay for the next mod/upgrade/or fixit

A damp towel. Armorall is full of alcohol, hence the reason it dries so fast. Over time it will dry out your dash and cause it to crack.

....When you buy your M3 from another fanatic via this blessed forum

I like to tell people that the windows move because the Germans built the car so well...if they didn't retract a little...the cabin pressure would prevent the door from shutting

^^

When you consider a $550 round airbag a "reasonable expenditure" for your M3 steering wheel upgrade.
