Basic M3 rim question

Whats up everyone,

Sorry to bug you guys/girls....I was just wondering if the M3 e46 rims (gun-metalish ones) fit a 323i e46 well?

As in will they fit right, and not rub up against the wheel wells?

Are there any downsides for ppl that have done this?

Should I just stick to my stock rims?

Thanks! Sorry for the newbish question!

OEM E46 M3 18" wheels, IIRC, are:

Front: 18x8 +47
Rear: 18x9 +26
  • OEM E46 M3 18x8 +47 front wheels will fit on your 323i front and back.
  • OEM E46 M3 18x9 +26 rear wheels will not fit your 323i in the back. The low offset will result in the outer rim sticking out about ~15mm outside of your rear fender. ...no good.
Alternatively, (although I don't see much produced any more) you can search the classifieds or eBay for replica M3 wheels. The replica M3 wheels I'm currently running are 18x8 +40 (and I' using a 10mm spacer in the rear but not reflected in the sig below) on my 328i.

What about replica CSL wheels? They have those in the proper offsets if you want a staggered setup. I think CSL wheels have a timeless design...
