New HU, radio sound nothing else

I'm installing a Alpine 9883, with Ipod, and HD radio.

Radio sounds great, but I get no sound from Ipod or CD. I have 2004 330, with Harmon Kardon system. I tried did not use a PAC-OEM 2, since a temp hookup with the harness worked for the radio, I figured I didnt need it.

I can switch tracks on the cd, and the radio thinks it is playing it. The ipod is fully operational through the head unit as well, just no sound.

Any ideas? I cant imagine that the PAC-OEM 2 would make the sound from the CD / IPOD audible, but I dont know that for sure

^Was going to say that... I've done that more times than I'd care to admit.
