Question..Do we need to get a new amp when we get a new headunit like the Clarion 925

or Panasonic 7200U? Or does the HK amp work ok with it?

I was also wondering if this indash dvd headunit would work without an amp. but all i have is the regular stock stero system (non HK) would i still be able to use this???

Look into Panasonic CQ-VAD7200U or CQ-VAD9200U

Both are comparable to the Clarion unit but w/o touch screen. 7200 is actually more like the Clarion but plays MP3 CDs. The 9200 unit has a center channel amp built in and 5.1 digital encoder built in..in which the Clarion has it but has to be bought seperately. I got the 9200 version but haven't installed it. Bought it for $1700.
