Here's a short clip of my dad's 840Ci Sport with stock exhaust:

http://www.caraudioarchive.net/repos...er/exhaust.avi

Its a damn nice car to drive when it comes to motorway trips, but its not very agile - sounds truely awesome especially when you use kick down My E46 is much better and dealing with the twisy back roads.

I will own another one. They are major hassles though. Lots of maintenance required. Atleast mine needed it.

Best looking BMW model ever.

No I wasn't offended, but the reason most dealerships say that is because most of the technicians have never worked on many 8's if any at all. ask me how i know, I have taken my car to a few, PARK AVE BMW,Prestige BMW to name a few and I knew more about my car then they did, hence the reason I will not take my car to another dealership again. If the car has so many problems its due to the fact that the previous owner did not maintain the car like it should have been just like what would happen if you did the same thing to your car. BTW you are more then welcome to me off when ever you want.

Reno both have been 850i, My first one was a calypso red, and this one is white. I wouldn't trade mine in for any newer BMW but if and when I do sell my car it will be for a CL600 or a Ferrari.

Stock they dont have LSD but mine does. I changed the gearing from 3.64 to 3.91LSD..Yes that one in the Italian Job sounded sweet. i will be adding an exhaust soon as well. thats on the list of mods.

I know where you're coming from, I used to own one of it's rivals - the Porsche 928. They have this huge rep for being problematic and complicated - then you find out the person telling you this hasn't even seen one before, much less worked on one.

I think the 8-series are awesome cars, which share two flaws with the 928 - pop-up headlights (both cars would look like they came off the line yesterday if it weren't for them) and too many automatic transmissions.
