Oem MK4 Giving me Wierd Issues
So My M3 has an MK4 in the trunk. I have legitimate updated maps for europe from the dealer. And My GPS just won't keep working. I have ripped my back out to get the parcel shelf out 3 times. I am now fast and quick at it. So when I get to the gps antenna if i just unplug it then plug right back in the sats in the secret menu will give me some S/N numbers and work. It will normally work for 20 minutes and then it wont work till I open the back up again and plug and unplug.
I am guessing this would be an Antenna Problem although not sure. If I can't resolve it easily I will upgrade the system to Dynavin. What do you all think it is? I was browsing on e...bay yes that dreaded site and most antennas aren't too expensive. I tried google but couldn't find anything useful to this degree. Any thoughts?

The problem is either: - a bad antenna - a bad internal GPS receiver on the MKIV. Buy a new antenna and see if that fixes things. Doesnt have to be OEM as long as you get the right kind of connector. If that doesn't work, then swap out the MKIV. This antenna is $11 and should work just fine: http://www.ebay.com/itm/GPS-Antenne-...item35bdbefc57
