Can someone tell me which of the two is better
Please guys, if cost wasnt an issue, which one would be better... I would think the panasonic for obvious reasons... Keep in mind i am using all stock HK speakers on the inside of the car... Thanks

I am Pioneer whore and personally I would go with that. I do not like the display quality of the panasonic and I think the design does not look as good as the pioneer. Pioneer is a better car audio brand though in general. One of the best..

For what it's worth, I just saw the Panasonic, Clarion, and Pioneer models
two days ago side by side on the same movie and I honestly thought the panasonic quality was much crisper and "true". The Clarion and Pioneer colors weren't as solid around the edges and colors had some weird tints compared to the Panasonic.
Also once it got to the lightsaber scene, the panasonic seemed to be the only one that held up and kept up with all the swinging So right now I'm trying to decide b/w the Panasonic and the Kenwood units. Plus with the panasonic, you'll get more functions than the Pioneer unit. |

Hey Guys, Just talked with a stereo shop this morning
and am going in to check it out this afternoon...they stopped carrying Panasonic a while back because a lot of people had problems with the units or something.
He said he'd personally recommend the pioneer with the 8000/9000 brain or the Kenwood touch screen model. He personally has the Kenwood model and his friend has the pioneer one. If you guys want, I'll let you guys know how the pic quality turns out after today... |

Seriously dude, ask people in the know and I am glad you are because the pioneer quality is not too good. I agree with him about the pioneer unit. I am selling my display which is the avx-p7000cd so if anyone is interested let me know. PM me.

Yeah every panasonic unit I have ever seen has horrible quality and that is when you are not in direct sunlight. When you are, good luck seeing anything on the screen. The pioneer really is the best at taking sunlight I think ... I have had mine with the sun beating down through my open sunroof and it is still damn clear.
