Less than 2 hours until I receive delivery of my new ride

Hey 328iGuy,

I will be out of town also but for sure I will be going to the next one or even Bimmerfest East. I have my E46fanatics.com sticker on my back window so if you ever see a red 328ci you'll know it's me.

I need a sticker for mine I guess, I am feeling left out now .

i hope you loose all ur money in the stock market......just cause your jealous of hard working parents that can afford to buy there kids nice and safe cars. i cant stand jealous people like you. so what life is tuff.

I called AON, and they say they can't beat the rate I'm getting. WTF? Brandon how the hell did you get hooked up with such an awesome rate? Do you have some sort of corporate discount. Why am I the bitch of the insurance companies?

Just got back from the dealer and put 60 km on the car....original milage 16 km. Truley awesome. I never knew what I was missing. Speechless.

Hey, I'm not jealous of teenagers who are handed a BMW like yourself. If I were you, I would milk the situation and ask for some money on the side and open yourself an E*TRADE account or something. Practice...no one is successful at first (there's always a tuition to pay in order to play). Heck, if you lose everything just go back to the pot of moola. Try the exact broker that I used. They are in Ottawa, Ontario. To do business they will gladly fax you the proper documents. You may have some luck.

23 years old - 6 years insured as a very casual driver under my parents who live in Hamilton...so how the hell am I going to drive their car.

Young Drivers training...graduated licencing.
No violations.

common law wife - 32 - no insurance history...nata, nil, zip, nothing.

I have a common law wife who doesn't want manual. Unfortunately I am not in any financial position to buy 2 bimmers. Step isn't that bad...besides this is my first car...on a lambo (2nd car) there is no choice of transmission. (Yet anyways)

Ahhh, I see the difference. Your six years as a casual under your parents helps you. When I went away to school, my parents completely lifted me off of their insurance. I sure wish they hadn't now - it probably cost next to nothing to leave me on as a casual driver. Anyways, thanks for the info.

For 4 of those six years I have been in Ottawa. During that time I paid something in the ball park of $200 a year as a casual driver because I provided evidence that I lived more than 500 km away.

Going to go drive some more...oh BTW...the AON I went to is only open to 4:30 I think. If you want to talk to the same rep I had...ask for Alida. Good Luck.

Beleive it or not some people actually prefer Steptronic! It's like putting carbon fiber trim on their cars... I think it looks tacky, but it's my preference. Same deal, get it?
