just wondering, but with that pac unit, you still had full use with the steering wheel buttons? how did you like the navi on that unit?

Yes, you will be able to use your existing steering wheel control with the pac unit.
The Eclipse Nav is awesome like 10 times better than stock BMW Nav.
You know what Lexus uses Eclipse Nav for their factory Nav system which is one of the best stock nav systems.

Why would you trade the Eclipse 5495 for the Pioneer D1 the Eclipse should be much more superior unit is it not? I am interested to hear your toughts. I am considering various navi options too.

Definitely the Eclipse 5495 is a lot better unit than the D1 without any doubt.
Since I'm selling my car, I'm trying to get some money back from my expensive mods.
