FS: RE Audio XXX 15 - XBL2 model

I have a new XXX 15 D4 subwoofer for sale. This is the ultimate in SPL and high fidelity. There are subs that are loud, there subs that sound good. I have yet to hear a sub that gets so loud yet sounds so good.

This sub weights in at 58 lbs, has 32mm of one-way Xmax and a very high BL factor (means great SPL). It is rated at 1600 watts but can handle over 2000 watts. I have a XXX 12 that takes over 2000 watts daily. This sub works well in a 2 cu ft sealed box or a 4 cu ft ported box tuned to 27 hz.

This sub has never been powered and is a 9 out of 10 cosmetically. It has a barely noticeable dent in the cone and a nick in the magnet. Both have no effect on performance. I received the sub with both of those minor defects.

I bought this to install in a home theater setup but plans have changed. I'm going to go with the new 06 XXX.

$375 shipped within the US. Keep in mind that shipping isn't cheap since the sub and crate will weigh about 70 lbs. Contact me for a shipping quote for those outside of the US.

I can include a BMW E46 specific sealed enclosure with a trim panel for $125 extra. It will look similar to the pic in my sig minus the painted portion and grill. I'll require a picture of your trunk.

You could make it a 10". You'd have to send the sub into RE Audio for a recone and new basket. I think its about $140 shipped to do the job.

You'd be better off buying a used or blown XXX (any size) and have the seller ship it directly to RE. Give RE a call once it arrives at their place and let them know what you want done.
