True but I wasnt just talking about the engine alone.

I mean if you look at the E46 coupe/sedan.

From the front and rear they are very similar, and to people who dont know them well (average consumer) until you see the side where there are only one or two doors depending you cant tell them apart at.

The 335 looks nothing like the E90 330 at all maybe very slightly similar headlights, but the front is different the rear is really different, it just looks like a whole other line unlike the E46 combos.

That's what I thought (The leatherette is the only option in US cars).

I'm still thinking low 40s w/ sport and premium is not bad at all for a 300hp BMW.

So, while this is still slightly out of my price range (need a promotion ) this does seem like a good deal, doesn't it?

I think by this time most E46 owner should have their cars paid off so just sell the E46 and invest it in the all new 3 series E92! That way E46 owners upgrade to the E92 and E36 will have an E46...

40.6 not TOO bad..??

got my 02/325ci sport/prem/ette/5sp/paint...out the door..for 34.5(the base on the 325ci was 29k or so)...true its only the 2.5..move up to the 335i...40.6k + tax = 44k...9.5k more...add an option or two and it's a 48-50K deal out the door...i am factoring in a 1500-2k "discount" ... take that away...yikes...we are in m3 turf...
