hey guys,

after having turned my car to stock, I slowly started doing "budget modding" on my own. This includes;

homemade short ram air intake with sheet metal heat shield. (~$50) worth of parts from Auto Zone.

muffler delete with glasspacks.

STAGGERED OEM style 193 M wheels off of my brother's 335i LCI Msport. Staggered wheels are running perfectly fine.

Wow we have actually gotten some snow today and its still coming! Man i love this car in the snow! i would rather drive it than my old 4x4 Bronco 2, hate to say it, but i think i see a for sale sign in the old trucks future.

haha yeah I know how that can be. You get tired of them after a while. Yes you should lower car, but I suggest a full kit with springs and shocks. Or a good coilover kit. I am definitely not an expert on suspension though.

Like the color. For springs, well I have fallen victim to the imfamous rear spring cracking issue (both springs). I figure replacing with OEM, I will only have the same problem. Coilovers are to expensive for me. I'll probably
go with H&R springs and Bilstein Sports.

i have cracked rear springs too...
are the H&R springs and bilstein sports the same price as the OEM suspension?

H&R's I found for $219. Shocks are another story-hard to find the right match. I want the drop to be as little as possible, I don't want to tear up the underside. I also want to get as close to the factory ride quality as possible.
