Transmission work. Tourque converter

Has anyone had problems or had to have thier tourque converter replaced? My 01 330Ci is probably going to have it's replaced, it studders when going down the highway and is reading code P0741. How much? Think I can do it myself?

You sure the torque converter needs to be replaced? Could be something else.

The code is for the torque converter clutch, not the TC itself.

P0741 Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Performance or Stuck Off

My 01 330ci just threw that code as well. Let me know if you found anything out.

I got the same code too this weekend. I noticed that it seemed like it missed when cruising down the highway...I figured maybe spark plugs since I haven't changed them. But I don't know what it is.
