probably not the most specific forum to post this in

hey guys,
i have been a reader and very very light poster on the forums for a while now and have a question:

i just purchased a carbon fibre gauge cluster trimming for my E30. yes i said E30 , i was wondering if anyone would have any idea of how to remove the perspex layer over my gauges to install this new part?
