Back to the cruise control issue

Okay, bottom line.. it no work.. nadda, nothing, zip.. not that I plan on using it too much.. but I prefer having everything functional.. and I have a long trip coming up Friday... is there a fuse someplace that I should be checking? I looked in the fuse panel under the hood (mind you this is a '99), so where else can I check for simple problems?
