Would you take this deal?

2013 335i Sedan 6 sp manual, 9500 miles

Just about fully loaded:

Cold weather
Premium
Technology
M Sport Exterior
M sport steering and suspension option
Harmon sound upgrade
rear window shade
backup camera

Estoril Blue

Dealer will CPO it and it will run me $48,750 (kbb is 47,500) dealer will not go any lower, I've tried all the tactics, like walking away and telling them I'm not interested at their previous prices.
This is a little over KKB price but here's the factors:

1. Car is in Florida and will need to be shipped
2. This color combo in a 2013 is very hard to find with a 6 spd manual.

So what do you guys think? The MSRP on this car new is $58,000 before discounts which I know that's what is "was worth" now it has 9500 miles on it. I'm thinking its reasonable since I'm getting it CPO as well, so I'm covered till 2019 or 90,000 more miles.

He won't call because that car is loaded and an easy color to sell. The manager believes he can sell it for more profit locally. Comes down to how bad you want it.

If you want it go for it. But it seems like an absolute rip off.

Because the car was 58k new. So really like 57k or 56.5k.
The car is now a year old and almost has 10k miles. It's a used car. The value should be about $46k asking.
Kbb is too high.

If you want it, it's work the extra money. But I think you're overpaying by a few grand easily.

There's definitely a premium in the car since it has to be shipped and the rare combo, I haven't been able to find a similar car with the options anywhere in the US.

But do you think they put a markup on it when it was new due to the premium color? No. So why should it gain a premium now that it's used?
Bottom line is, any new car can be ordered any way you want it. When buying used you're at the mercy of the market and what's available.
If you like it, BUY it. But there's absolutely no reason why anyone, especially a dealer, would put a premium on such a car. In fact, I absolutely guarantee you, they can move a silver car with the same options much faster than a blue one.

Why not just fly down there and drive it back? That's what I did with my 135i....ended up being cheaper, too.

Send a message via AIM to Spiral Prophet
ask yourself this question:
"How much less would you pay if you settled for a less rare combo?"
If you can stomach that difference for getting what you really want then do it.
If not then keep searching or settle for something that fits your wishlist as close as possible at the price point you like.

I agree with most of what you're saying. However, the markup is mainly the CPO. That sh1t is almost always all profit. They're "forced"to do that to used, but really it's to protect their name, investment, and keep business at the dealer shop. That's really his problem on the price, take that away and he'd be close to your number.

Also, OP. I would stay away from cars owned in Florida, or any beach area. Lots of salt can erode the clearcoat over time.

Looks like your price for that spec new would be around $53,500. Does $5000 offset the used nature of the car to you? Your call.

If you're driving a G37 now it'd most definitely be upgrade either way.
