Hi Every one .
does any one had to change to trim U shape upside down for the head rest ? The trim on my convertible is faded and scratchy from the seat belt rubbing against it, i just bought both sides and planning to replace them. ok making long story short i tried to snap off the trim where the seat belt fit by the head rest the trims seamed pretty well hooked and i'm afraid they might snap off and they get damaged. The TIS refrence says that the trim from both sides will be destroyed when removed (is that true ?) Please give me as much details , I have no warranty and i'm on my own. thanks |

Hey Freddy, I know this is an old post, but I was thinking of doing this myself. Any suggestions?

The tabs on the cover break when you take it out:
![]() There are 5, I highlighted them in the pic. You might still be able to re-use some of the covers, but they'll have broken parts. I'd just order the new ones and not worry about being careful with the old ones, they're cheap.
