Fuse 32 pull question for HID conversion
i have a 2001. if i do the fuse 32 pull, will that disable the entire bulb check, or does it just disable it for the headlights? for instance if my corner lights go out, will the bulb check light come on?

Fuse 32 in 01's and previous is only tied to the headlight out warning. You will still get a warning if your tail lights or turn signal bulbs go out

I pulled #32 in my '00 and I still DO get a headlight out warning if the bulb actually fails.
There seems to be no affect on the functioning of the light warning system other than the fact that I no longer receive phantom warnings with the HIDs installed in place of the factory halogens.

I'll also add to this: I put in HIDs, kept the fuse in, and get no warning.

I pulled the fuse in in my '99 and I still get all my bulb error prompts if any go out.

I confirmed this as well last night by pulling the plug on my low beam.

I pulled the fuse on my on my '99 and it did nothing. I get the bulb-out warning when I start the car, and it goes away when I turn my headlights on (with or without the fuse). After that the warnings function normally.

That's the problem I had when the warnings finally came on. The fuse pull worked for me on my late 2000 produced model year 2001. My wife thought that they were indicators reminding her to turn on her headlights. - e46myway |
