You cannot clone your key. The code is rolling and security protected. Even if you manage to code it by breaking the security and unmasking the password; you will disable the original key as soon as you start the car due to the rolling code.

You need to remove the IC from the ECU and read the 10 correct codes for the car which needs an ECU reader for $25 and removal of the DME, and soldering of the IC. Maybe you cna read it with INPA. Then you need to code the chip, which is $4-6 each and is one time only programming once you lock it.

It is easier to buy a wallet key from BMW for $40 and transfer the chip to the new key. The chip is under a black sticker in the wallet key.

I couldn't really understand the original post and sort of gave up halfway.

So you can get a spare for $40 bucks at BMW?

Yeah i didn't understand the guy either. Sounds to me like a Chinese advertiser for the product although it does work and yeah, you can clone one of your keys. It just disables the other key, whichever wasn't used to start the car first. You wouldn't need to clone however. You can add/delete keys from ews as much as you please. I'll be writing a DIY on it soon.
