I doubt that water is getting into your headlights because in the back of them, they have a weather resistant rubber grommet that protects everything. It could honestly be anything so I hope someone else could chime in since these lights could be complicated. If you do tear down your lights and have to replace a projector, I suggest doing a clear lens retrofit because that would improve your lights so much. If it is retrofitted then check your harness because the relays could be bad. flickering on warm up is normal (for retrofitted xenons) so it may be something you might have to live with. I had this problem with me older car and it had a tiny battery so I had to replace the alternator because it needed a lot of power. So yea check your relay harness!

that adjusts your projector level
I dont think its ever auto adjusted in my ownership (purchased in september) so maybe not the weather but my angel eyes deffienetly dont turn on when I unlock the car like they usually do only because its cold. How do I find the relay? I searched but couldent find anybody talking about their locations and what they look like and being very new to this I have no clue where they could be. And I got a picture when I came in of the loose connection Click image for larger version

Any clue where this belongs? I think it could be my problem unless this is for the headlight washers.

Wow, I really like the chrome ones. But the 6k type lights are pretty high on price.

Hi , I've looked through this thread and I can't seem to find anything on fitting angel eyes to a prefacelift sedan with after market projectors fitted. My lights were halogen and terrible. My high and low beam shrouds are 146mm wide. I cannot seem to find angel eyes in the configuration. Does anyone know where I can purchase some?

I have a preface sedan with aftermarket projectors. Get the angel eyes from umnitza. That's where I got mine and they work brilliantly.

Before you buy a set of angel eyes, ask your vendor if their angel eyes will stand up to this (Umnitza Orion V4 E60 Install):

Slowly working my way through this thread, but haven't seen exactly what I'm looking for yet.

Anyone have V2's 4300k, oem halogens, amber corners?

Im looking to buy AEs for my 2001 330ci coupe with OEM projector/xenon headlights. However, since i live in Sweden its going to be expensive to buy from umnitza... So my only alternative is ebay. However, its really hard to find a kit where the seller is clearly states whats included and for what specific type of headlights etc it is.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/66-LED-SMD...item4179b0a319
Found these. Seller states it will fit the following:
BMW 3 Series E46 2D 1998-2003 (Pre-facelift)
BMW 3 Series E46 4D/5D 1998-2004 with projector lens 131mm x 4 ( 66 led each ring )
BMW 3 Series E46 2D/4D/5D 1998-2004 without projector lens 131mm x 2 ( 66 led each ring ) / 145mm x 2 ( 76 led each ring )

So first of it seems like it should fit. Then on the last line he says E46 2D without projector? Is the size of the rings the same for projector and non-projector? The seller is so inconsistent, mentioning different sizes for projector/non projector for some cars, and others not? Also, theres no clear statement on whether a harness for fade in/out functions is included. Almost every single seller is just as unclear in the description...

Im so confused haha... Any help would be appreciated!
Hi, wonder have you already got your answer of the correct size of AE to fit into your car?
I have the same issue of choosing the correct AE ring sizes for my E46 320i 4D sedan that come with factory equipped single HID projector light. I searched through eBay and found that most of the recommendation is getting 4x 131mm ring sizes AE. However, when I browse through this forum, which a group of owner are actually fitting 2 big (146mm) + 2 small (131mm) AE ring size (suppose to be used for halogen, non projector headlight) into the same model :
http://www.bmwclubmalaysia.com/newfo...-6#entry456872

So, now I'm getting confuse whether to get all 4x131mm rind size or 2big+2small ring sizes AE

Any owner has AE installed can share your experience & opinion?_nr_

Most of the sellers don't actually build their own, they are just reselling the latest China build.

Look at our site, you'll find the correct spec rings - www.umnitza.com

You also don't have to go far to see some of our angel eyes in action on this thread, just go back through it

Thanks for the feedback and advice.
Well,my situation now is I've bought a set of AE from eBay seller with the recommendation of 4x131mm ring size, I've yet install it and found other forum mentioning the correct size for my light should be 2 big (146mm) + 2 small (131mm). That's why need to seek more advice and experience sharing here.
