yes, the Projector46 will work. It has either 4 screws that unscrew the projector and you can rotate it, or it has a built in flap (depends on which ones are in stock at the time we order).

This product offering is for the budget conscious buyer that wants more of a DIY kit. It doesn't have some of the additional frills and benefits of the Chromiums but it does allow you to take advantage of the look for lower prices.

Think of this as the Outlet Store version of the Predator Chromium model

On the Facelift coupes, the headlight rings are smaller, and accordingly the rings for the angel eyes are smaller. The only gap in light is at the top where the bulb is actually connected. To prevent the drilling of any holes through the headlight rings the bulbs are made to have a flat backing, which means there will be that small (barely noticeable in person) gap in light at the top.

The DDE's for almost all other cars are about 3/4 of a complete circle with a flat section across the top, they have this flat section because the headlights so, the initial E39 angel eyes were shaped no differently than the DDE's sold en mass.

All of the rings have that broken spot at the top, that is where the wiring connects to the rings.

Ok, so all the models have the broken dead spot on top. and more $$$ for facelifts,
how about the fogs? I saw something on one of the sponcers sites had an hid type with ballast, etc.. how about a replacement bulb whatever it may be, h7 or something like that. Im not sure of the bulb. the HID I thought you needed to focus, or adjust to keep from blinding people.
Also I have my DRL off from the factory, how would the angel eyes stay on while driving, and it also works from the remote by tapping into the interior lighting?

haha, the "dark spot" is on all cars. Facelift coupe versions are actually already much better than others. Others have larger gaps up top. Also, mine aren't crooked, just the angle =P

As for the HID setup, if you don't have an existing HID, then you'll need HID bulb and ballast. If you arleady have HID, all you need are replacement bulbs (if you want higher Kelvin temperature; which dictates the color hue of the light emitted)

So I could bump up my existing stock 4600ish to 6k? with a bulb replacement?
then the fogs im sure mine are not hid, they are really yellow, I could do HID for those or get some yellow smily faces for them. And your blue eyes have the smallest dead spot, I want those, but not blue. I would love a full 6k setup. JLeviSW needs to hook me up

haha yup, all u need for your low beams is a 6000Kelvin HID bulb...as for your fogs, you'll need 9006-fitment HID "kit" which comes with a ballast. Get one with lifetime warranty =D
If I'm not mistaken, I think all facelift coupe fitment angel eyes have the smaller "gap" up top
