New to E46, but lovin it...Oregon

Hi,

My name is David,

anyways i worked for KO racing as an R&D Tech, but last month i cracked a block on my personal car, just to turn around and shatter a piston in the new short block the following week at the autox...life is grand

So i decited i needed something nice besides my mr2, which i cannot keep together for more then a week especially at 430rwhp 411rwtq(pump gass).

I was about 12 hours away from buying an alpine white 325I with sport and luxary package, it had every option but was a slush box

I had a feeling to look on craigslist in another city down the road right before bed, and i found this one. I fell in-love and went down the next day 2 times and purchased it on the 2nd trip

I have been nothing but happy

for mods the car has: 3.46 rear end, 19's, H&R cupkit, AC pedals, strutbar and shift knob.

My future plans are purchase an m3 in 2.5 years when i'm 25 for cheaper insurance, because with a perfect reccord i still pay $211/month with $500 deductiable

thanks all

david

I believe the 6 speed swap is a lot of money/time.

Time is no biggie, and "alot of money" is a relitive term,

I just havent found which 6spd box fits the 2.5 block, found ones for M3 obviously and 330

thanks david
